How does a contractor register with Coral Gables?

The City instructs contractors to create a CSS account, open Contractor Credentials and Insurances, and upload the required registration documents.

What registration documents does the City list?

The City lists the Contractor Registration Form, contractor license, certificate of liability insurance, and workers compensation insurance certificate or exemption form.

What happens if the contractor changes after a permit is issued?

The City requires a contractor-change application to be submitted as a sub-record of the existing permit. The new contractor must be registered with the City.

What if the permit has not been issued yet and the contractor changes?

The City says to submit a new application with the new contractor.

When are required sub-permits identified?

During master-permit review, City reviewers add required sub-permits to the application. They may be applied for after the master permit is issued.

How are shop drawings submitted?

The City states that shop drawings are submitted as sub-records under the master permit through CSS.
